- Check out existing map and figure out important strengths and weaknesses
- Outline in greater detail what we will include in our maps
- Visitor map ideas: lengths of trails, degree of difficulty, cultural/unique points of interest to stop at
- Property Management ideas: possible new trails, changes to existing ones
- Start walking trails with GPS and camera also taking notes on points of interest
- Start adding GPS data to google map
- Note: sometime after this lab but before the following, connect GPS unit to computer to make sure that the data points we are compiling are being done correctly
November 15-
- Finish GPS-ing trails and go back to specific sites
- Keep adding data and images to digital map
- Start planning print version(s)
November 29-
- Put together final products
